No it's not impossible.. In fact I am almost finished. Not With TrueSkill (too complex and not enough info for PHP at this moment) but with an basic system called ELO. Modified for multiplayer.

It will be OK, relax :D

Problem is that I have weekend too and that gives some problems :lol:

can you tell us how the new system works?i mean how its calculating the points.
3 hours ago i had 400lp or so and after couple of races it became 371 :o

another thing, is needed to wait everyone complete the race and 90 seconds to restart the race, why dont allow restart the race or make the counter have less time to we wait?

I need to finetune the charts, will do that tomorrow. Lets see if that is satisfactory. ( I think not, actually :/ ... Maybe improve the old system instead, don't know yet )

Because when number one finishes there could be a delay before the last one finishes of up to one lap. (90 seconds).

And also its a time to change things, another setup. Go to toilet, discuss an incident. A short break is not bad :wink:

The delay is actually 120 seconds. Or 2 minutes. If you finish first you have the longest pause 8)

Just a question, why i lost 100 lp in just 1 day?
I won one race, and the others i spectate by crash or flip motives only...
Also, i have more than 500 lp from the leader of ranking, who have +100 lp from the second. How the points are made or lost?

Congratulations to Carbon and ZnoCz ! :thumb: :) They are latvian demo drivers that I called here, cause I knew they are potential winners. Now Carbon is S1 driver, but ZnoCz is already S2(S1>S2 voucher) 8) Now there are many latvian drivers on S0 server. Let's see what they can. :lol:

i think carbon is affraid that i steal his points, every race he did with me he didnt finish, he always spectated near end of race.

Carbon is not worried about his points, but maybe he is giving it for another driver. And you should't worry about them, because they are not participating anymore on S1 winning. :wink:

Doesn't matter anymore, they are S1 and S2 now so they don't count for the league.

But I will do a system change after this weekend, need to think about it. I don't like that spectating behavior.

how many points are added to league table if i win a race and everyone else has less points than me?
last night i won some races but those didnt count...
how many points go i get if i finish 1st in this example?

Alright, I recalculated everything from 1st day of the month. You can't loose !lp anymore but it gets harder to gain when you are on top of the list. Amount of races done are in the table now also. The more races you do the chances you have a high score increase but it does not say everything.

changes look good. yeah, its way harder, i'm only getting 1 to 3 pts per race. how the pts for winning race are calculated? by fast laps? time of race?

Ehhhr no.

It's based on ELO's quick calculator.. Here;

But you need the current average ELO of the racers participating, points earned.. Blabla. It's not easy to calculate the 'delta'.

Maybe I display the results per race in the future.

Generally saying; you earn more points if you rank high in a race with a high average ELO and you gain not much if the average ELO is low. Or, if you finish bad, or the average ELO is just extremely low.. You score nothing...

Or even have a negative delta, which I do not count anymore.

(ELO is !lp (league points) ... I just named it different :D )

If some of you don't follow what I'm saying... Just race! :lol: :wink:

No problem.

I did a final recalculation now. I noticed a bug, the race counter only went up if you scored a positive delta. Now the race counter always goes up if you finish a race.

Scores are slightly different now because that counter is part of the process, doesn't matter much, just a bit.

It will be reset, otherwise newcomers won't have any chance.

Your account name is spelled different in replay's and that is very unusual.

I reinstalled the .exe, and changed name, because my team chief use the sponsor as team name and the sponsor changes a lot... :huh:
