So no, it was not a ddos. Basically the same happened yesterday. I think it has something to do @datacenter... They keep updating protection systems live, it's a bit annoying but no it most probably was a normal network failure. The data traffic graphs don't show anything unusual

Yeah that topic got deleted on lfsforum but he sends personal messages to LFS server admins saying they probably have a 'bad quality connection' and that they can try his service. He apparently doesn't know that he is also sending these messages to the people I arrange service for and that DDOS attacks take place around the same time as when he sends these messages. Funniest thing of all, he is with his lame server in exactly the same datacentre as CG

Together with another topic which is not there anymore (from Chriship) and some other events I have seen happening I declare him as absolute rat which cannot be trusted. Personal opinion though.

Informal: The current loss of connections are unrelated to attacks, the datacentre seems to have problems with German connections and maybe some other connections which are routed through Germany (too lazy to figure that out, also not that important).
