need a slight bit of help with a setup of an XFR

my main issue is i have no speed, when i'm racing the XFR with the same class people, my XFR is far slower and i can't get my gearing right for the straight aways.. fastest i can get is 140mph, and i get the FXO's passing me if they catch up.

the car is set up correctly for corners, as i can mainly catch up to the same class cars on tight corners or slow/mid speed corners

can someone share my their gearing setup as i feel i am always trailing highly behind with the class cars while corners i'm totally fine with.


also, i apologise in advance if this is in the wrong place of the forum, i mainly stick to the game rather then talking.

Which track?

larger tracks, sometimes SO can be a pain also.

my times are always record last of the cars driven on but i have faster splits in corner areas of a track

mainly Aston, West Hill and Kyoto

Maybe its just driving in turns?

that's where i got my setups, i've been tinkering with the gearing to get it to catch up with other XFR drivers.

If you got setup, then only exiting turns is where you are loosing.

corners are fine, the straight away's are horrible, even from a start off the line i get the lower class cars catching up.

LRFs are faster at some points.

lx6,fz5,rac and a lucky lx4 will overtake xfr/ufr at the start.

dont worry about them.

What about other XFR's somtimes even drafting won't get me to catch up..

how much fuel you using?

When you press your throttle pedal to the max, do you get this little white horizontal line at the top? It's on the right bottom part of the screen.

Do a 'recalibrate axes' in the controller settings, then press them fully to see if it recovers. It the bars ever start to flicker when pressed, then your 'pots' need cleaning... they look stable in the replay though, just a bit short.

It isn't usually that easy to be faster, so enjoy.
