Italy, in fact, is one of the very few countries in the world where people still makes proper music. Music to be appreciated, not to be just consumed and forgotten after 2 months. France and England comes with Italy also.

Portugal? 80% of the music done here is just Hip Hop or kinda of. I just can't stand to this any more. It's driving me mad. And it has been like this for years. I liked it when I was a kid. But now everybody can do a beat on your computer, so if you have a Mic too its just enough to make a hip hop pseudo-production.
The only music that saves the whole deserted music culture on my country is a genre called "Fado", a proper Portuguese root of our music history. But almost nobody listens to it. It's very appreciated in France and Italy for example.
