You can skip the point system completely when you are a LFS Veteran/Master but otherwise you just have to start in the middle of the system or in case you are relatively fresh.... At the bottom

Whhhyyy? Because we don't want newbies driving around in fast uncontrollable cars, wrecking up the place. OK? You are inexperienced, 'mkee, face it.

Besides, it much more fun and challenging.

So, how do you gain points?

Set a new personal LFSW record! Every time you do that you get a point! How great!
Drive a <WR+2% or <WR+1% lap. For 2 or 4 extra points. (Oval excluded, there are other time limits there).
Set fastest lap in your class during race, 2 points.

Finish at first eight of your class; 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 or 1 point
If only three cars in your class start at race; 3, 2 or 1 point

Losing points
You can never lose points, lose your account.. Or whatever.

Remember, all our servers are multiclass servers. Never block cars driving in a faster class. They are NOT your competitor.

Every class has its own point system, faster class cars don't get more points.. Usually even less, because there generally are fewer cars in the faster classes.
