Hi!

Yesterday I made the decision that project S2s and S2r failed. I had the impression more players would be online after the release of the awesome Westhill track, that also was the case but only for two weeks :/ ... S2s and S2r most of the time where empty after that and there was in my opinion too much choice and it was also not easy to maintain with so many servers. So I decide to;

- close S2s and S2r (s for slicks tire cars, r for road tires)
- revive the old S2 name

Car availability is now as follows;

Code:
s2 (monday-friday)
---
tb4: {fxo, rb4, xrt +lx4}
gt2: {fx2, xr2, fz2}

s2 weekend
---
lrf: {lx6, rac, fz5}
ngt: {xfr, ufr}


Due to safety issues I don't want the old situation back where you have literally almost every car on the track. Not sure if people going to be happy with this setup but hey, have to try something different (f)

New drivers are not allowed to join the track by the way. They simply have no carz! They can build up experience on CG GTI or CG S1. Couldn't find an easy starter car for them, thats the reason.

Because of the ä's in your name yes.. Forgot to mention this but I think I fixed it two days ago... With somebody else which was online on S2 and had the same problem.

Changed server s2 requirements... No points needed anymore or experience index blabla.

It's just about safety rate from now on. Cars;

Still can't choose the car, yesterday i had to reconnect and it would let me pick the car once, but if i spectated it showed them all gray again.

Now today in FE4 it just didnt let me pick anything at all. >.<

Hhmm because of your post I am thinking about the idea to bring everything back (+LRF/+GTI/+FOX)... Until a certain treshold of racers, lets say 20... And then it falls back to post87536.html#p87536

But first I am busy with a different InSim which needs to help me Monday evening with CityLiga commentary. :x :wink:

OK.. Just done this.. Available when connections to the S2 server are 25 or less. When it goes above you can't select these cars anymore (racers which are on the track are staying on the track with these cars though).

Now that S3 has come..... does the cargame.nl S2 server exist any more?
I see it in LFSW "Racers and hosts online" list and I see that there is WE1r with 3 drivers, but when I click to join it says "server has different game code". I don't see the server at all when I list the available servers in LFS.
So, what's going on? :huh:

the S2 server is still running the J environment instead of the new K. Couldnt update because .. There where people online on S2.. And.. To be honest, I think it's obsoleted so it doesn't really matter.

Yeah, it's been like that for a while, also i had to rejoin the server every time i spectated, because it would not recoqnise my name and only let rb4 to be chosen.

However today as i tried, it didnt let me take anything even with rejoining the server :/

It's still propably due to the weird nature of my accountname -Ritari�ss�- :/

E: Waited ~10 minutes and now it lets me drive the cars again, showing the same info as in the wr pic above.

I think I need to have your game account for a moment to properly fix this (when you are not racing). It's too complicated and time consuming to adjust stuff then wait and ask how it's looking on your end.

Consider changing password, send me personal message, I look into the problem(s) and you change password back after that. I want to have this problem out of the world once and forever :)

I think this is also the reason why the race restart counter gets messed up.

Right hhmm I have to deal with three/four different codepages concerning LFS accounts. Took some before I understood what was going on because you are one of the very few with an Ä .. there are ä's and ë's @LFS but not so many capitalized "Umlaut's" and I didn't notice the difference @the internal structure..

For my own reference;

db airiotable: -ritariässä- <= full lower to UTF-8
Airio.sta.un.txt: -RitariÄssä- <= partly lower cased to UTF-8
PRISM db: -ritariÄssä- <= party lower cased


I think the problems are sort of covered now. Although I like to get rid of Airio at some point, it's too confusing, two systems :nah: :[
