Some people noticed it, so I make an official note here about it.. The servers where offline for two weeks already. This was because the complete unit went out of the air due to a hardware failure. (After 1.5 years without any interruption! 530 day uptime it had)





No idea what they did, both harddisks still have 15331 hours of power on time (which is two years but no worries they say they last 2M hours = 228 years, wtf?) .. So no idea what got replaced..

After this I started up the website stuff again and database etcetera but I couldn't motivate myself to restart the LFS server instances, Airio, all other InSim control stuff and blabla. Until now... We also get a minor LFS update this weekend (about mirrors though, not really a big deal).. So it's nice to have things back online I think.

However I suspect racing interest to stay low for the upcoming months until winter arrives. I am in Croatia myself until mid September and not having that much interest in computer stuff. Just a little bit when the weather is bad. Anyway enjoy again and maybe see you around!

Just came up to me.... while Speedy was driving on CG servers, there were lots of people. When he stopped racing, people were gone... so, either he is God himself or he has close connections up there, 'cause people follow him whatever he is doing!

Ahh, it is all clear now.. Speedy J is shortened from Jesus
