The car selection screen shows the FO8 is available to drive, I thought the open wheelers had been removed.

Ah ok, I spotted it earlier and wasn't sure if it was intentional.

it is, I also lowered the requirements for all other cars with one level.

Little bit lost at the moment what to do exactly but will solve it (I guess).

And like Joey said, it's a FJR.. The timings of a FJR are comparable with a GTR, that is still interesting.

You need a clutch button or pedal anyway for this open wheeler. I don't think the class will ever be very popular.

You need to configure a clutch button or in my case I have modified my shifter that it first inits the configured keyboard clutch key and then shifts... It's a modified Logitech profiler key press script. You have to be a little bit nerdy for that, especially because you normally can't modify the shifter with normal keypress editing.

I edited the script with notepad.

I use a program named VJoy to turn keystrokes into buttons on a virutal joystick. So key W (shift up) is mapped both as a key to shift up, and as a button to clutch. That way it automatically clutches when I shift up, works great.

I've also set it up so that when I shift down, it does a automatically heel-and-toe-manouver. Key S (shift down) is clutch, down shifting and throttle at the same time.

Purely on button method. Going through corners, like old F1 cars. One hand on wheel and one on keyboard. Shifting down on keyboard and clutching aswell. Upshift is on wheel. Works for me!
